Jeremy Roach drained a 3-pointer at the buzzer as part of his 20 points to lift No. 13 Baylor to a last-gasp 99-98 win over No. 22 St. John’s in double overtime on Thursday in the semifinals of the Baha Mar Championship in Nassau, Bahamas.

Baylor (4-1) advances to play No. 11 Tennessee in the championship game on Friday after the Volunteers beat Virginia 64-42. St. John’s (4-1) will play the Cavaliers in the consolation finals, also on Friday.

Norchad Omier led Baylor with 24 points and 10 rebounds, with Robert Wright scoring 17 points.

Ejiofor scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Aaron Scott added 20 points for St. John’s.

No. 11 Tennessee 64, Virginia 42

Chaz Lanier fueled a strong second half as the Volunteers ran away with a win over the Cavaliers at the Baha Mar Championship in Nassau, Bahamas.

Lanier made four of his six 3-pointers and scored 18 of his 26 points in the second half, helping Tennessee (5-0) hand Virginia (3-1) its first loss under interim coach Ron Sanchez.

Dai Dai Ames scored 12 points to lead the Cavaliers, who shot just 28.6 percent from the field.

No. 16 Indiana 69, UNC Greensboro 58

Myles Rice poured in 20 points and the Hoosiers overcame a shaky second-half stretch to defeat the Spartans in Bloomington, Ind.

Bryson Tucker had 14 points off the bench for Indiana (4-0), which made just 41.7 percent of its field-goal attempts and only 5 of 19 3-point attempts, 26.3 percent.

Ronald Polite III’s 17 points and Donovan Atwell’s 10 points paced UNC Greensboro (2-2), which shot 31.7 percent from the floor.
