MANILA, Philippines — PLDT seeks consistency moving forward amid its hot 3-0 start in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Although they gained a solo early lead, Arado said their team still needs maturity and consistency in their upcoming tougher games.

“‘Yung maturity kasi ‘yun ‘yung talagang kulang samin, lalo na ‘yung consistency namin na kahit sino ‘yung kalaban, kahit gaano kabigat ‘yung pressure, ‘yung sa crowd, ‘yung nangyayari, talagang hindi kami dapat kahit pinanghihinaan ng loob,” said Arado, who had 14 digs and seven excellent receptions.

“Lesson learned na din nung mga conferences, so kailangan namin mag-mature na alam namin ‘yung role namin sa team and alam din namin paano i-improve ‘yung individual and as a team,” she added.

“Nakaka-proud siya kasi may goal kasi kami talaga as a team. Maganda kasi talaga ‘yung preparation namin and siyempre tulong na din sa mga coaches nag-scoscout sila then inaaply namin sa training.Hindi na talaga bago sa amin ‘yung galaw namin, kailangan na lang talaga namin masundan ‘yung plano, ‘yung sistem na iniinuput ng coaches,” said Arado.

“Now that I’ve rehabbing stuff and I’m back kind of in the day-to-day with practice, it’s more just about becoming the player that they need me to be and less so much focus on myself. I’m just trying to fill any role that I can to contribute to this team so it’s on me,” she added.

Davison believes their solid start is just the product of the High Speed Hitters’ dedication and hard work every training.

“We work hard, our preparation was really nice and we just know how to adjust to certain teams and I think we just show up every day working harder than the last. I think as a team we’re just growing in general as a group. It’s really fun to see how much we can do so I’m just excited to see — give us more time and we’ll see how it goes,” she said.
