The Cleveland Cavaliers keep racking up the victories during their historic winning streak. We’ll all be watching Friday night as the Cavaliers look to make it a 14-0 start when they host the Chicago Bulls.

Second-ranked Alabama has a big test on the college basketball court as it visits a Purdue squad that has won 20 consecutive home games. The No. 13 Boilermakers will look to win this matchup from the 3-point line.

Just 12 months ago, the Washington football team was moving down opponents. Well, Kalen DeBoer left to coach Alabama, and now the Huskies are a mediocre team in their first season in the Big Ten as they head into a home matchup against UCLA.

Let’s check out those unbeaten Cavaliers as they battle the Alabama-Purdue clash for best hoops game of the night.

Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers recorded a 119-113 road victory over the Bulls on Monday, and the victory wasn’t easily attained. The score was knotted at 106 with five minutes left before Evan Mobley’s dunk started a strong closing stretch. A win Friday allows Cleveland to tie for the fourth longest winning streak to start a season in NBA history.

Chicago had no answers on how to control Donovan Mitchell, who had a season-high 36 points to go with eight rebounds, four steals and seven 3-point baskets. Mitchell followed up with 23 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists in Wednesday’s 114-106 road victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Zach LaVine was on his game Monday with 26 points on 12-of-20 shooting and the Bulls need him to be hot again in the rematch. Two nights later, LaVine scored a season-best 31 on 12-of-17 shooting as the Bulls notched a 124-123 road win over the New York Knicks.

That victory was only Chicago’s second in the past seven games, but the Bulls look capable of covering the 10.5-point spread. The Cavaliers have scored under 110 points just once and have allowed 100 or more in every contest.

Over 236.5 points, -112 (DraftKings)

Alabama Crimson Tide at Purdue Boilermakers

These two foes played a highly entertaining game last season when Purdue prevailed 92-86 in Toronto. Departed big man Zach Edey had 35 points and still-starring Braden Smith added 27 for the Boilermakers, while Crimson Tide star Mark Sears drained a career-best eight 3-pointers while scoring 35 points.

Both clubs are 3-0 and untested, and this battle rates as a high-level exam. Smith has been superb in the early going, and he had 22 points, nine rebounds, six assists and five steals in Monday’s 92-84 home win over Yale.

Alabama was unimpressive at times during Monday’s 72-64 victory over visiting McNeese State. Grant Nelson had a solid game with 22 points and eight rebounds and the Crimson Tide need that version of him again versus Purdue.

The Boilermakers are shooting 43.7 percent from 3-point range, while Alabama is struggling at 30.1 percent. But review last season’s game and the big takeaway is this: Sears is liable to have another huge game and carry the Crimson Tide to the victory.

Alabama -2.5 spread, -110 (DraftKings)

UCLA Bruins at Washington Huskies

The Huskies were fun and exciting to watch last season as quarterback Michael Penix Jr. guided them to the national championship game before losing to new Big Ten mate Michigan. This season, Washington is 0-4 in Big Ten road games with three of the setbacks by 14 or more points, including last week’s 35-6 loss to then-No. 6 Penn State.

Huskies quarterback Will Rogers has completed a solid 71.4 percent of his passes and has 13 throwing scores compared to five interceptions but he was pulled in the loss to Penn State. He has three interceptions and no touchdown passes in the past three games.

UCLA has won three straight games after a horrid 1-5 start. After beating Rutgers and Nebraska on the road, the Bruins notched a 20-17 home win over Iowa last weekend.

A stunning thing happened against the Hawkeyes: Leading rusher TJ Harden rushed for 125 yards on 20 carries after having 226 total through the first eight games. Another effort like that might give UCLA another victory. Regardless, this game will be close.

UCLA + 4.5 spread, -112 (DraftKings)
